Academic Calendar & Time Table
A Time Table is a tabular statement of the time at which or within which, several academic activities take place. In an academic institute, a class time table plays a crucial role in coordinating four basic elements: Students, Teachers, Class Rooms and Time Slots (Periods).
As per Clause 9.0 of BPUT Academic Regulation: Each constituent / affiliated college has to prepare the Time Table for Theory, Practical and Sessional subjects at least 15 calendar days before course-wise registration. The Time Table must also mention the teacher handling each subject. If a subject is handled in multiple sections, names of all concerned teachers are provided.
Taking all these factors into consideration, BIIT prepares the class time table with the master practitioner, Dr. Trailokya Panigrahi and team for the subjects being offered in a semester, 15 days prior to course-wise registration. The Time Table provides a clear and unambiguous view of academic activities including Theory, Practical, Sessional, Projects, Seminars, Tutorials, Library, Games and Break Periods — semester-wise, branch-wise and day-wise.
